Antioxidants Minimize the Atherosclerosis Risk

Fat deposits in the lining of blood vessels (cholesterol plaques) to make the blood vessels become so narrow that blood flow less smoothly.
Cholesterol plaque in the walls of blood vessels are fragile and easily broken, leaving a “wound” on the walls of blood vessels that can enable the formation of blood clots.
Because the blood vessels have experienced narrowing and hardening of the plaque, cholesterol, and blood clots are easily clog the blood vessels in total. This condition is called atherosclerosis.
Antioxidants are believed to help prevent atherosclerosis, which is a risk factor for heart disease, stroke and related diseases with other blood vessels.
More consume food or beverages that contain anti-oxidants to prevent damage to blood vessels from free radicals.
Also, do the following easy steps.
1. Controlling blood pressure is normal and to keep control of blood sugar levels if you suffer from diabetes or DM.
2. Do not ever smoke again whatever happens.
3. Regular exercise training.
4. Lose weight if you feel fat.
5. Lower your LDL cholesterol level. Way, reduce the consumption of foods high in saturated fat content.
6. Increase your HDL cholesterol level. Way, multiply the consumption of foods that contain lots of fat .
7. Reduce consumption of fatty foods to lower cholesterol, lipoproteins and triglesirida.
8. Eat more foods that contain folic acid and other B vitamins to reduce levels of homocysteine in the blood.
9. If necessary, take preventive medicine atherosclerosis drugs recommended by your doctor. In taking this medicine, you better get a doctor’s supervision to prevent this undesirable result.
